OKAY SO THIS. WAS UNEXPECTED bc I wasn’t planning on putting this up today but it’s National Unicorn Day and I really can’t get around the fact that it’s probably the most appropriate day ever to start posting this so. I’m going to.
This story is weird and I was terrified of making it but a couple of Good Friends to whom some of the topics are Relevant have been very kind in helping me to refine the script and get it as good as I can make it, broken hands aside, but literally I had no choice bc it wrote itself in my head over like a day and then I had to make it (very much like TPoH only like, not as huge thank goodness). Sorry for all the waffle, I’m just anxious- I hope it works out and you enjoy it!

I don’t think there’s any official data on it (i did make a headcanon post before but I can’t find it lmao) but I think HDL are 6/7, Donald/Gladstone/Fethry/Daisy are in their early 30′s (Fethry= 30, Gladdy= 33, Don= 34?), Gus is like 35 to 40? Jose and Panchito same. Magica is 40 (bc it feels right fight me she’s just Really Tired), Scrooge is ??? 80 going on infinite and Grandma Duck is too powerful she cannot die
but like. who even knows man it’s Didney also birds age super weird compared to mammals for real they got that mad mitochondria magic going on
RIGHT SO fortunately I’d already had sketches of Jose doing this so I had something to work off of (no cheating this time all brand new I just had a clue) but like I gotta apologize to that KH person, cause I was afraid of having to draw Donald in his KH outfit haha you got me there

I’m going to make a very rare exception of answering this (I do ask that people don’t ask me about Ducktales- for a few different reasons but mostly because I just don’t watch it any more! so I’m not able to answer most things) but I feel like a lot of people get this confusion after getting into the show first and the comics second so imma address it-
basically the new DT show is completely different from the original comics, or it certainly is in a lot of ways- enough to make it pretty unmixable in terms of taking bits from the comic stories and trying to fit them into the show. DT draws inspiration from the comics, but the characters’ personalities, backstories, and interpersonal relationships are vastly different, so it’s best to treat it as a completely separate universe. That’s just how it is! Ducktales is not bad show- just too different for the logic of the comics to apply to it fluidly, so it’s best not to attempt it at all unless you want a headache.
I stopped watching when I realised it simply wasn’t for me- which is fine! I’m just happy to see more people learning about and loving the ducks, but consequently I don’t know anything about DT Magica or her relationship to DT Gladstone, or if/how that could work as a ship. They are, effectively, strangers to me, so I can’t help there!
