And it's like- yeah! they just deleted 75 years of successful design. it makes me sad! how can i feel better?
OOF. Tricky. Well uh, gosh I do have to confess I do understand where you and your brother are coming from. it’s hard to not feel ‘dented’ with that kind of feeling inside, but we have to remember that whatever the new show introduces it doesn’t erase what exists and has existed for nearly 8 decades! the comics are alive and loved and the designs and characters that live in them equally so- the show (like a movie adaptation of a book) is another world that is based on those characters, but isn’t the same. Resentment isn’t progressive- creativity is! Nobody can stop you from drawing and writing material based in your understanding of the world, and nobody is forcing you to watch the new show and/or accept it as the be-all-and-end-all of the Duckverse. Your view and your love of their world is eternally yours; treasure and celebrate it!

Well, as Fenton works at Gyro’s lab now that means he’s not going to be Scrooge’s accountant anymore, so I made one for him in the meantime! He’s Terry and he’s a Scottish Terrier. The diversity of animal species kind of inspired me at that point. Terry’s a tired single dad who tries his best. Works at the Money Bin to have enough money to raise Meowrie (but he’s not pretty good at it). Terry is something in between 30-40 y/o. Meowrie is nine y/o. Fin. Gaaasp, how deep my OCs are *insert sarcasm*.
Alright, I don’t currently have a bunch of information and I hope I’ll be havin’ more ideas. If you wanna ask me anything about my son you’re free to do it. I have a lot of projects and requests and tomorow I’m back at School but! you may even ask Terry some stuff –but Imma going to be awfully slow to reply *wheeze*.
My two awful attempts of OC. They don’t even fit the DT’s aesthetic that much because I drew them in my style. Double shame. I may try to draw them in the actual show’s style later. What do you guys think about my son? Any toughts? I would love to know ur opinion.
