shucks! I wouldn’t say I do know a lot about it necessarily (I just think about it a lot), but as for being superstitious I’ve reached that odd point of wanting to say ‘no’ but not being able to do so because-
a) I ain’t risking shit
b) people that go around breaking mirrors and walking under ladders are causing their own health and safety problems and frankly that sorta behaviour is just plain rude I mean what did that mirror ever do to you
c) belief aside I find superstitions really interesting and I figure it’s only polite/logical to respect them when I spent a good hour reading an article about their origins on wikipedia
d) I know I’m too small and dumb to know what is or isn’t Ananke giving me a slap around the ears so I might as well play the game
e) who am I to say that talisman or lucky thimble or four-leafed clover isn’t going to work to someone who might just need a symbol to help hold onto a little hope in this frequently unfair and horrifying world

I’m sorry I don’t do it very well- I have had to stop again because while on the whole I’ve been improving it’s a slow process, and apparently what little I was doing was still enough to upset my hands! I am just working on TPoH now, and only very slowly at that, until I’m more sure of what my hands are able to do- but yes! It’s hard to remember sometimes, but we have to look after ourselves or else we won’t be able to make what we love!

oh wow what a lovely message, and I have considered it! but seeing how close things ran with the TPoH kickstarter I think I need a while before considering trying another (especially for slightly less popular work of mine), but I really appreciate the encouragement and I am so glad you like/relate to those stories

hopefully! as with Volume 2 it depends on how many go out as rewards- if all of them go out, there won’t be any to put on sale! but I think there will be some of both kinds left over, so fingers crossed! if they do put the extra books on sale you know imma make a post about it so keep those peepers peeled

sorry friend I’m not sure either, but I think it will be basically a few days before the rewards go out- and seeing as that is going to be happening (hopefully) inside this month of April then this is the last chance you have to make alterations! so, if you magical kickstarter folks want more stickers or that elusive reprint of Volume 1 you’d better hop to it!
