aah, see this is where I’m a hypocrite however I answer bc I love the comics and how they have the curse/blessing of the ‘constant’; there are never any huge shifts in relationships, regardless of what happens in previous stories. I like to let the readers have their own opinions of where people are at too, and a ‘will they/won’t they’, ‘are they/aren’t they’ scenario to me is much more compelling for the imagination than a fixed state. Besides, I know not everyone ships magicstone and I wouldn’t want the comics to become unreadable for them! the next story has nods to it, but if you didn’t know about the ship you probably wouldn’t even notice- I guess I’m just watching the characters and letting them progress the relationship by themselves as I write these so I can’t say what will happen in the future, but yeah at the present moment in the doodle comics they’re very much in an ‘aware they might have feelings for each other but won’t really act on it bc awkward’ state. Things I doodle for tumblr outside of the comics aren’t really a part of that specific narrative :’D

I have that problem with the comics with Gus, which is so sad bc I like him as a character? but so many stories just make him into a 'haha fat character is greedy and lazy'. not to pressure but have you thought of doing a story with him? I feel like you'd actually do him right :'D

again, not gonna comment that DT thing even if I’m inclined to agree because I’m just really trying to not have that in my life rn and who needs duck drama, HOWEVER I have to reply because goddamnit I feel you on that with Gus; he’s a great character and I feel like he has huge potential! I do have him in the next doodle comic, and I thought up one with Gyro with him having a key role and it’s only 10 pages or so so I might do that afterwards. I also have one with Grandma Duck and him doing a whole Agatha Christie mystery but that’s very WIP on plot… blah blah blah, basically, yes, I am gonna use Gus more. 

I’m not sure I can ‘do him right’ but I’ll do him how I’ve always seen him and I want to give him some airtime. I love how relaxed he is. To me Gus is a guy who’s figured things out- he likes lying around in the sun, he likes his Grandma’s kickass food, he likes his relatives. Bam, simple as that. He does things to maintain, obtain and keep those objectives, and my fav versions of him have him solve problems to keep his perfect little bubble- which show how he can be very inventive! He invents a machine to do chores that works by him rocking in the rocking chair, he carries the cow inside so he doesn’t get cold while milking her- I really feel like Gus can and should be a kindly, quiet, peaceful guy who is strong, but only active when he has to be, who is clever, but only when it benefits the peaceful continuation of the little idyllic universe that surrounds him. Also, size aside, who wouldn’t love his Grandma’s cooking- even Scrooge goes over to enjoy it! I know I would if I could.

uhhh I seem to recall reading he can make it sticky on either just one side or both sides, though I can’t remember where but yeah I think he can control that- makes me wonder if he could do that thing with double sided where you peel off the visible white tape, then he could leave near invisible sticky traps!

alas, I don’t! (and I don’t know either anon pal like, I super like anthro designs and I love me them disney ducks but I guess I don’t know enough about the culture/definition to be sure if I am ‘a’ furry) however I feel like I’ve gone long enough without playing that game for shits and giggles so hey you folks want to reply to this post with suggestions on what you think I’d be maybe I’ll pick the most popular/one I find the most appealing and draw it later in the week if I get the time! it’d make for a fun break from work :D

anon bless you of course you can- there is a message option where you can write to whoever you’re supporting on Patreon, but if you can’t figure that don’t worry none just reply to a post I’ve previously made. I read the comments so I should pick up on what your hankering after! As for commissions if you can do try to pm me on that I will totally try to slot you in. Also the 5 dollar thing is a sort of ‘best option/most popular request’ for the once a month reward they get so it’s a bit of a guessing game on what that’s gonna be.

seriously man the manga is lovely but the anime really does its best to just, embrace it and enhance it and my GOODNESS the animation is. stellar just jaw-dropping stuff, also the voice acting is spot on and the music is a fucking bop (there are a few more Sero scenes than in the manga in some places? but as with anything its a give and take you lose some you gain some) basically do not be afraid go have a good time.
