Anonymous asked: how did you get such magnificently muscular thighs *A*
omg I was not expecting a compliment on them but UH I KINDA had riding lessons since I was seven? And while the rest of me sort of balloons in and out like an inflatable toy they’ve basically stayed the same even though I stopped for study purposes ages ago???
Anonymous asked: You look like sastsuki
I can tell I’m going to get this a lot =__=
Anonymous asked: Sorry if I'm out of the loop, but do you have a definite place where you'll be in London? :O I would love to say hi!!!!
Well other than milling around at the Expo in a hoard of madness I’m not sure I can get more specific, although I suppose I could try and be in a place for a meet up? Thing is the people running the expo always love to throw curveballs at us (like shutting off areas or walkways for no apparent reason >| ahem) and idk if I’ll have internet access to reorganize things.
Anyway best bet is finding me on Sunday because it’s usually less nuts than on Saturday, so idk maybe we could try to meet up at the statue out front at…. uuuuh, maybe 1 o’clock? If it’s not raining. Would that work? Maybe that would work yeah okay so look out for the Mary Poppins in a big white poofy dress with a parasol at one by the statue on Sunday
that me :|b
Anonymous asked: Psst. I am going to London MCM on the Sunday with some friends. I'm going dressed as RGB. If I see you is it okay if I run up to you and wave like an idiot?
YES AND I DEMAND PICTURES WITH YOU
Anonymous asked: I've been kind of shy to ask (I'm a different anon to the anon from before), but the question just then reminded me to ask: Have you ever been to Manchester MCM Expo? I'm kind of hoping to go there this Summer and I'm kind of wondering what it would be like.
actually no! I’ve never managed to go I always seem to miss it or end up being busy! I’m afraid I can’t help you anon but I’ve always found Manchester to be a very friendly, innovative and crazy place full or creative people and I can’t help but expect that sort of atmosphere from an Expo there.
Anonymous asked: Where would Hero be from?
She is from Manchester! :D
Anonymous asked: Are you going to TCAF? (Toronto comic arts festival) Or any other conventions in the next few months?
sadly I’m somewhat restricted to the UK at the moment but I am going to the London Expo in two weeks time! I’ll be going as fem!Ishimaru on the Saturday and Mary Poppins on the Sunday so do feel free to say hello if you see me :D
Anonymous asked: hey Mod, I feel kinda down because I told one of my friends that I use fictional characters as motivation by imagining them giving me advice or what they would do in the same situation and he told me that was dumb, is it dumb?
honey I am a 26 year old professional freelance storyboarder who runs her own webcomic and I constantly envision characters in those ways
if I find myself slowing down or being sad I get Neil Richards hollering at me to quit moping and do something wildly unpredictable instead, or Tintin drop-kicking the door down and giving me some sort of encouraging quip before jumping through the glass paned window next to my desk with an appropriate accompanying explosion afterwards, and that’s not to mention my own characters shoving me about at all hours of the day without a by or leave
whatever your methods are if it helps you survive the world that’s as real as it gets my friend
Anonymous asked: I think I see what your doing not getting involved in our comments/theories, leaving us to our imaginations haha I guess that is what a major part of the comic is about.
see this one gets it
you go buddy
Anonymous asked: Gravel like that wouldn't float, though, unless it was so small (like, dust small) that surface tension kept it aloft. Density is the deciding factor in if something floats or not, and nearly all rock is too dense. A notable exception is pumice.
I’m laughing really hard I’ve had so many of these kinds of messages in the past hour do you even know
