every now and then I remember Raggy Dolls had the nicest theme song ever for a kid’s show

oh hello punch to the nostalgia gland

Someone asked if I’d ever animated RGB, so yes I did this last year when I could still sneak into the school to shoot pencil linetests.

I’d love to animate him some more but alas, no time! Not at present anyway.

There’s nothing better, than a well done hand crafted, animated piece of work. Mad respect.

One scene shows her reblogging in tumblr. Now i’m reblogging her.

I love gold dragons even more now

I ACTUALLY HAVE the book on my desk and I’ve always wanted to see the flight of the gold dragon, so this is pretty sweet if you ask me. The illustrations in this book are incredible, and this brings back a lot of good memories xD

OH wow.

this is the sort of thing I think is what endears people closer to 2D animators than 3D ones: you have all these classic photos cataloguing how they were always drawing and being artistic and cool clever stuff like that. And I can’t blame them… this always looks like a lot more creative fun than sitting at a computer and adjusting splines and tagent handles in Y space…

other than that: check out the number of represented women in this list :D often they’re overlooked as they aren’t famous names or aren’t screen credits, but they’re legends, too.

I think it’s a pretty good idea because once you’re laid off you never see anything after the show/project you’re working on aside from unemployment. In light of the layoffs at Dreamworks, Rhythm and Hues and other places where artists are kind of left hanging with nothing it sure would have been nice if they had seen some of the cut after the fact. writers get residuals so why not us?

anyway. blablaba it’s worth a try. an ol’ college try. nyuk nyuk
