pencil sketch- I've been using dry ink for the previous ones but I was using a screenshot as reference so I wanted to be more carefulgold ink/colour highlights- this gold requires mixing quite a bit so get shaking!
thinned ink for bg- to make sure the character stood apart from it I made it quite light and not very detailed
straight inking! no water, no take-backs; for lighter patches of shade I dry out the brush to skim over the paper, like you would with pencilscale! this thing is tiny- that's my pinky finger on the far left, and I have small hands!
finished product! took about an hour give or take, messed up a bit but it was fun and good practice!
