I can’t stop watching Cats Don’t Dance.
I’d never seen it before yesterday and damned if it isn’t some of the slickest animation I’ve seen in a good long while.
Not the best film ever, granted (pacing problems, not enough character development as I’d like and EGADS would it kill them to turn off the backing track for two minutes?), but it’s so quirky and fun and by golly would you look at those character designs, colour schemes and backgrounds.
Danny’s persistent lack of teeth and brainlessly cheerful gawping does get on my rag though.

animdungeon said: I remember when my sister and I went to see this at the theatre, however it was during the time when 3D animated movies were on the rise and barely anyone was at the showing.. to bad cause it was an awesome movie.
