gelatinocomics asked: (psst hey, about that post with all the science on it, the water forms a bridge because of its cohesive properties. water molecules are attracted to each other and they can stick together like that on very small scales, the same way water droplets retain their spherical shape. the containers in that gif are actually very small, so the water climbs up the glass because it's a very small amount so it can overcome gravity rather easily)
