okay but can someone who knows about macs explain what the heck just happened because it scared me so badly

I was going to use google drive to send a buddy some things and I kept getting an error so it told me to disconnect the account and start over?

so I did and entered the password when it told me to blahblah and at some point along this banal passage I must have stumbled headfirst through some sort of FBI laser trigger because my laptop literally just started BEEPING SO LOUDLY THE WHOLE THING WAS SHAKING AND????!?!?

I DIDN’T DO ANYTHING WRONG AND I WAS SO SCARED I just held down the power button like someone desperately trying to smother a screaming reanimated corpse back into oblivionjeeeeeezzzuss frick I swear I nearly had a heart attack why is any computer even capable of that

I am still terrified of going anywhere near google drive after it happening but idk if it’s something that could happen again?!???

  1. logicwavelength answered: It’s definitely with the Mac itself. As far as I know Google Drive would simply give an error code if something’s wrong, not beep loudly.

  12. friendlytroll answered: memory error! So long as its starting up and running fine, everything is OK. Drive just triggered the ram to get upset.

  16. bumblebea answered: It sounds like you may have gotten a screamer. When it asked you to put in your password? Your computer probably downloaded the screamer.
