Your last post made me laugh because I also adore "Tricksters" in mythology. Growing up in a Native Alaskan (Tlingit/Haida) culture, stories about Raven were always my favorite :) Have you heard of him as well?

YEAH MAN I LOVE RAVEN oh dude yes also when I was in Vancouver I managed to go to the Museum of Anthropology and got to see that gigantic sculpture of Raven and the first humans in that massive shell? Amazing. Lots of beautiful sculpture work over there and the cedar boxes?! Bentwood chests are you kidding me aaaaaugh just too incredible. I’m so sad I didn’t grow up with the stories but I got massively into them when I did a project on the First Nations people in secondary school, and I’ve been an avid admirer of the stories and art style ever since. Some of my classmates didn’t believe it at first that such stylized work could be so ancient, they thought it looked so like modern design and graffiti!

Oops minor text splurge but yeah I guess I’m saying you should all check out those tales and such because they are super great and more people need to know about them and the First Nations people in general.
