I just had to try… I am not perfect at Lakota/D dialect or Lakota/L or Dakota so I kind of bounce between them a little. If any Lakota fluent cousins see this please correct my grammar.
This is mostly difficult because the language is very complicated. Complicated because there are very few words (Since many things were introduced and weren’t given special names). Many things didn’t exist before colonization right? Car is “Metal that moves on it’s own” which is Iyeċinka iyanka… The language’s characteristic is to describe, stick to the present or future.
