I've just been going back through your blog for basically infinitely and I just found the VERY FIRST BABY SKETCHES OF RGB OMG and he was kind of a Persona thing like in the games as your own shadow? So RGB was originally based off negatives aspects of yourself???

Oh boy- well, someone was going to dig this one up again at some point so I’d better just be clean about it. Yes! tumblr was doing a ‘what arcana would you be’ for the Persona games and I was just like OBVS MAGICIAN RIGHT HURR and then I ended up drawing the darned embodiment of my worst aspects because sure why not and wouldn’t you know it look who it turned out to be.

He very quickly evolved past it into his own character and then story happened like bam darn where did that come from, and I must emphasize that he holds no connection to me in the story whatsover (that would be too weird, even for me), but yes, RGB- my most famous and loved original character- was created as a direct result of analyzing and portraying my own deepest insecurities.

Top that shit.
