I tried to deny this for the first month or two of the course, but no, being the tap-it-to-my-veins addict that I am I cracked and have been reading everything I brought with me on loop since. I made a promise to try not to buy any books while I was here, but a week or two back I finally cracked after going on a massive Sherlock Holmes binge, having finished re-reading the four novels for the umpteenbillionth time and watching the BBC episodes.
So in answer to your question I am deliberately slowly chugging my way through a compilation of twenty two of the short stories, which I deem to be safe enough due to the fact that I am ridiculously ahead with my work and I read the blighters so many times when I was a kid that they’re all but memorised anyhow.
In conclusion, Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle dictates my life.
