treehousefriend asked: Draco, Hagrid and Neville! :D

Draco: Closest green item to you.

My copy of the complete illustrated novels of Sherlock Holmes. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was one of my biggest influences in literature growing up, and boy did I read. A lot. As in really far too much and shouldn’t I have been outside getting covered in mud or painting or something instead (well okay I did that too).

Hagrid: Your favourite animal.

I know it is such a cliche but I adore dogs. I really do. I am a ridiculous creature myself and love being hugged and patted on the head so perhaps that has something to do with my love of those faithful furry man’s-best-friends, but there you go. My family has two dogs back home, a mongrel terrier called Frodo who is insane, and a newly acquired Whippet called Tilly. They are both utterly gorgeous.

Neville: Your favourite flower.

Interesting one, as I never thought I was much into botany, until I moved to Vancouver. I come from Cheshire, which is about as countryside as countryside gets in the UK, and suddenly being landed in Downtown on the 17th floor of a high rise building made me realize just how much I missed all that pretty green stuff I was so used to. As for the actual question, I’ve always had a fondness for harebells, but honeysuckle probably wins over it just because it smells incredible. It was also a favourite of the horses at the yard, who would always manage to get away from the track to eat it, and it stands for fidelity in the language of flowers, which has always been very important to me :)
