so my Mary Poppins umbrella arrived in the post and it is SO BEAUTIFUL AND I LOVE IT

the canopy is not black like I ordered
it’s green
unfortunately this is not my dilemma- my dilemma is now that I prefer the green colour and want to keep it forever and ever, but this is not strictly canon for the cosplay

green is often associated with villains
the transparent parrot head is also a little bit freaky looking
the big sweeping black coat I have has ornate scrolling patterns on it
Scary Mary is legit a thing
