Everything I draw ends up wearing a bow-tie

Hi guys!

This is a bit of an awkward situation for me, I don’t usually ask for help from the internets let alone post all that many very personal blog posts but right now I’m doing both.

Essentially in a couple of months I will be leaving my job. I’ve stuck it out for about 2 and a half years and things have just been getting worse and worse thanks to everything from a company that has no idea what its doing to nasty workplace bullying. So bad in fact that its had a big impact on my health. To cap it all off this was only meant to be a stop-gap job that’s not even vaguely related to what I want to do! The only thing that’s helped me to feel better is the thought it will soon be over and I can pick up the pieces and actually start moving on.

But, even if the money stops coming in the bills don’t… I’ve spent a lot of effort and time scrubbing toilets (in a fair few cases literally) and earning money to send myself off to the Vancouver Film School to study animation. This is pretty much my dream. My big goal. And I have been working hard and fighting for this. This is also the only money I have to tide me over to my next job. Although I am job hunting like crazy I honestly have no idea when the next one will come along.

Because of this I’m offering cheap portrait and bust commissions in the hope that I can earn just enough to avoid making a nasty dent in my Film School fund.
