Everything I draw ends up wearing a bow-tie

(TLDR warning) Hey so I had this really awful nightmare-

I started my new job at this Flash animation place, and it turned out that everybody else there had been sent a test to do before they were hired; meaning that I was the only one with literally no experience at using the program. Some of them had been doing it for years even, and I was sat next to one of my best friends who’d also been hired and had to keep looking at what he was doing and asking these painfully ignorant questions and by the end of it all I was convinced he hated me as much as I did.

I hadn’t even brought headphones, which I needed, and apparently everyone else had got the memo on that except me, so I had to borrow some from the super kind guy next to me who was still under the blissfully naive opinion that I knew what I was doing.

Eventually I bucked up enough courage to tell the people who hired me about it and they had no idea how it had happened either, and I basically asked them to fire me right then and there because I didn’t want to hold up the project or take a job that someone else deserved, but they told me to just try it for a week and see how it went.

So I went back and sat there in front of the computer for the rest of the day, making little to no progress when I could have animated every scene they’d given me for that week in the same day if it were on paper.

So yeah it was horrible, pretty ridiculous stuff. Good thing that would never really happe-

Oh wait. No.

That wasn’t a nightmare.
