Everything I draw ends up wearing a bow-tie

Anonymous asked: thanks for letting me stop watching Ducktales- I felt bad because I felt obliged to watch bc I've been a lifelong ducks fan, but I was forcing myself to, and then feeling bad that I wasn't enjoying it. I didn't realise how unhappy it was making me- the guilt of not being able to enjoy it, so when you just said 'you know what I'm good you all carry on I'm just not into it' it was like HUGE relief? and I feel so much healthier now! not bitter, not guilty, just able to let go of it and love ducks

I’m so glad I helped you get to that mindspace anon, it was a bit scary for me to make the decision and especially to make it public, but I really do feel much healthier without that constant internal conflict! I’m glad everyone is enjoying the new show, but I’m glad I don’t have to feel obliged to take part anymore as well- I think sometimes just admitting something isn’t for you and making a clean break can be the best for both parties.
