I was thinking more like part of Clementine’s legacy of always having a cat to keep the mice off those thousand dollar bills, and with Scrooge getting increasingly mad rats (see Power Play on Killmotor Hill) he had to get increasingly mad cats to deal with them, but who knows? maybe Rag-ear is related to the original Money Bin Moggy!
