haha wow that would be a twist huh? tbh I don’t think it’s any of the kids from class 1A; that, if there is a mole at all, it’s more likely to be something like the teachers, but there’s also the fact that there are so many wild quirks out there that it could be there isn’t even a mole at all! you could have a person who could create tiny insects, for example, who could send one into the school to gather information? bug bugs. omg I didn’t even think about that ‘til now. Anyway I’m big on ‘innocent until proven guilty’ so I’m on that side of thinking.

HOWEVER

I do. Have a big concern regarding Sero’s future, a really big one, and that is that if any one of the class were going to die during the story it would almost certainly be him. He’s right in the writer’s trope danger zone for that- it’s a super hero class facing scary absolutely-will-kill-you villains, and what evil author wouldn’t consider offing one of a class of 20 Very Loveable kids just to drive that point home? 

In terms of a ‘cast’ Sero’s a supporting member but has frequent contributions that are almost always funny, is an all-around swell fella, is highly relatable and has a design that’s cool, cute and just a little bit fragile-looking. He’s also an emotional touchstone and a great platform for other characters to interact with- you can bounce every single class member off this guy and get a great scene from it. There’s also a tonne of room for invention and potential with his ability and personality, as we don’t have the complete picture but have had tantalising glimpses of a kid that’s much more than meets the eye- one of the reasons I enjoy him as a character is that he’s extremely versatile like that. He’s not a weak character either, so him losing a fight would be something pretty significant, and his loss as a person and a powerhouse would be felt in ripples for the rest of the story. Imagine seeing that empty classroom desk right next to where Midoriya sits. Ouch.

I worry about the class rep from class 1B Itsuka Kendo in the same way; she’s in a similar bracket of ‘cool cute funny reliable good person’, and while she is arguably more of a backdrop character she’s had substantial input to the story and is almost a symbol for class 1B at this point so her dying would have almost equal impact in terms of plot gravity. Worst case scenario, both of them go. Best case scenario, I’m completely wrong and nobody dies!

I wanna be wrong so badly you guys I really do.
