I was trying to figure out what I love so much about how you write/draw this Magicstone relationship and I think it's partly because you totally respect them? like, you don't make Magica submissive or try to change either her or Gladstone to be 'nicer' but rather you celebrate them both and show how good they can be for each other as they are- there's no domination with either it's just this lovely funny dramatic balance and even if it's tragic and silly it feels healthy and Good and I love it
aw man I am glad to hear you feel that way! :’D I really try hard to listen to and respect the characters whatever I’m writing, also I was joking just yesterday with a friend about how I need to step up my game of giving Gladstone some scenes where he saves her because I always have Magica saving his ass, but he just makes such a good damsel in distress and she’s so cool djfsdnk
