Uncle Mod, just curious - I know you sometimes draw with your non-dominant hand and I know you have particular reasons for that but I was wondering if you think learning to do it has developed your mental or visual artistic skills. Would you recommend it as a general drawing exercise?
I’m not sure! I think it’s a good idea though, just because then if one of your hands fails for any reason you have a back up- and trust me, if someone as clumsy as me can learn how to do it anybody can! I just takes time and a bit of patience with yourself- even doing simple things like learning to brush your teeth or eat your cereal left handed contributes!
