Me and my family have been going through a really rough patch for a long while now, and even though we’ve been toughing it out, it’s gotten to the point where we’re struggling to keep our heads above water. In fear of ranting I’ll keep it short; My father was rushed into hospital three months ago, his organs are all shutting down and there’s nothing the doctors can do. A 71 year old man who could have done anything he wished, can no longer lift a finger without risking becoming life threateningly ill. We almost lost him a couple of weeks ago. Our home is no longer fit for him so we need to make adjustments before he can come home to spend what little he has left. We have barely any money to our names, and with Christmas around the corner and younger siblings, it’s getting tighter and tighter. I may have to leave my full time course at college to support my family which would be devastating. Every little penny will help and put all our minds at ease to focus on what’s really important.
