Everything I draw ends up wearing a bow-tie

Anonymous asked: see I want so badly for your comics to be official, but knowing how Disney has treated people like Don Rosa and how many rules they have for making comics I like? I don't want you to have to suffer that, so I'm glad you're happy doing the way you're doing them 'cause from those tags I getting the feeling that you feel that way too... although I kinda wish you were getting paid u work so hard :T

yeah it’s a funny/complicated feeling? like, wouldn’t it be the Bees Heckin Knees to be making canon content one day, but at the same time- I just know I’d be constantly fighting people to get my ideas through and ain’t nothing that can kill inspiration faster than that, and I love these ducks. I always have I don’t ever want to lose that… putting that as risk for any reward doesn’t seem worth it. As for the money look at it this way- as long as I’m not getting paid, I can’t get into trouble for making as much fan comic content as I like! and I can still give the official brand guys a smile if they find my work, and that’s really cool!
