Duck Comics- links!

After many requests I’ve decided to throw together a list of links for reading duck comics online! As ever I always recommend finding and buying comics when you can or supporting your local library by loaning them out! All of these are from readcomiconline, so feel free to use the search option yourself and find all the ducks you can, but I’ll put some specific links down here.

Full Lists of Scrooge/Donald Comics: Regarding all of these compilations; while reading them in order might seem logical, it may almost be better to go diving into these lists at random, just to get a decent grasp of how different the comics are along the timeline! Also do note that sometimes there are reprints of earlier stories in these sets so you might end up skipping some if you do go the chronological route (the dates are from the website, it’s a bit confusing because there’s just so much of it!)

Uncle Scrooge- 1953+ (404 comics) /  2015 (27 comics, ongoing) / Uncle Scrooge Adventures (54 comics)

Donald Duck- 1952-2011) / 1962-1980 / 1980-1984 / 1986-1990(1987-1998) / (2003-2006)

Very tragically I haven’t found any good links for up to date translations of the most recent European comics so if anyone has please feel free to add that!

Other Stories related to the Duckverse:

Darkwing Duck (2010/2011) (2016) / UltraHeroes (2012) (the rest of it) / Duck Avenger / Donald Quest

One warning; very unfortunately some of the older comics, as was typical of media at the time, sometimes contained material that is offensive (such as Donald using a cane/switch on the triplets as punishment, frequent appropriation and misrepresentation of Native American peoples, and even one or two really unfortunate cases of black-face). While I cannot and never will defend these incidents, denying the existence of them would be denying the truth, and I am happy to say that over time the comics greatly improved and these traits dropped out. However, that’s why this last link in particular should be approached with a bit of caution if you’re starting at the beginning; Walt Disney’s Comics and Stories-1940 to present. (note- this is a mixture of Donald and all the other Disney characters)
