Anonymous asked: I just noticed that in Skip, since Arthur presumably spent his life in black and white movies, Mesi is the first colorful thing in his life. Just thought that was a bit adorable.
I actually really wanted to push that side of it, but having to keep the short to three minutes or less resulted in that being capped; maybe if the feature-film-that-lives-in-my-head is ever made I can explore that idea more, because yeah Mesi kind of completely changes Arthur’s world the instant he meets her, regardless of which world he’s been living in before then.
