asked:
why do you sell in such small batches?

because, alas, at the moment I not only have to hand-write all of the addresses on the envelopes (I am going to see if I can get a new printer and figure out stickers), but then I also have to carry them all to the postoffice, and with my fragile and pathetic elastic body even ten books at a time is very hard to lift- I am in eternal debt to my mother who has been helping me not only to parcel up the books but has been writing the return address on the envelopes and giving me lifts to the post office and helping me to not panic about the whole thing!

this is why I’m also spending a lot of time writing to publishers and sending some of the books out to people like that who might be able to take the strain of all this heavy lifting (literally) off my hands. That said I am having zero luck applying to them, and each rejection is another blow, but hey! all I can do is try and try again, and honestly I don’t know what else I can offer them when the books are clearly selling themselves and I have an established international audience :T
