miniaturetanks asked: My two cents about adblock: you're of course free to use it as often or as little as you like, but a lot of youtubers rely on ads for their income, and the way that youtube works, content producers are already getting a pretty awful deal before taking into account that about 40% of people use adblock, so they aren't getting paid for 40% of their videos' views, and whether or not people use adblock can make a big difference to them! Just food for thought.
hm, duly noted, thank you for that information (and the others who have told me the same thing)!
alphaotaku asked: if you use ad block plus you don't have to sit though the adverts. It sometimes blocks stuff you want to see on some sites but you can adjust it as you go and get it configured as you like. I had honestly forgotten youtube had ads until I loaded it on my mobile. (ad block plus works with chrome and firefox. Not sure about safari or opera)
THE THINGS THAT TUMBLR TEACHES ME
I LOVE YOU
ah youtube, the video resource where you can watch the entire Mariinsky Theatre Gergiev interpretation of The Nutcracker for free and yet have to sit through an for a garbage horror film beforehand
it’s been a while since I threw some TPoH inspiration music atcha so here you go :D
Anonymous asked: I think tumblr ate the art I tried to submit to you :'(
OH NO I’m sorry this does seem to happen sometimes D: also I do get a lot of messages so it isn’t outside of possibility that I’ve missed it, maybe try again? another trick is you can always send me a link in a fan mail message instead if you’ve posted a piece of art to your tumblr, that usually gets through!
So I meant to upload these ages ago, but the sudden lack of internet made it impossible for me to show them, however where’s there’s a will there’s a way [mostly college internet tho xD]
Anywho, I got to go to comic con a while ago and I had an awesome time, I met loads of artists and bought cool stuff [I bought my first commision and it’s gorgeous]. But one of the best moments was when I got to met Modmad! [Isn’t her dress beautful? I’m really glad I got a picture of it that day]
The top picture is a framed fan art I made just in time for con and I actually got to give it to her! And a few minutes later a RGB cosplayer appeared xDIt was a great day c:
I HAVE THAT PICTURE ON MY WALL NOW thank you so much I love it and you made the weekend ten times more magical than it was already :“D

Long before Pixar and today’s CGI special effects extravaganzas, early animators of the silent era experimented and introduced new techniques into filmmaking. Mark Quigley gives us a tour of the silent animation collection at UCLA’s Film & Television Archive - one of the few places in the world that capture this rich history of early animation.
