‘about damned time you made a new print’ the masses cry

so yes NEW THING ON MY SOCIETY6 which you can buy as objects

also there are other things by me if you want more things to look at that are by me

do you ever look at yourself and just think goddamn humans are weird

storiesintheashes asked: Hey. So I responded to your adorable fox comic and I just realized that my response was potentially rude, I'm really sorry about that. I just wanted to express how awesome I think it is and how talented you are.

are you kidding you related my work to Shel Silverstein that’s like an A+++ compliment you lovely doof you

I mean it’s true sometimes being told ‘hey that thing you did looks really like this other thing lolol’ can be hurtful, but being told your work is stylistically similar to something rad is pretty great man you didn’t do no wrong there buddy

(but yeah folks be careful of the whole ‘hey your character looks like such-and-such from that thing you’ve never seen or heard of before in your whole life and now you feel like a gigantic hack don’t you you poor miserable creature are you a FAN OF THEM’ because that can be very damaging)

(just fyi)

been really thinking about my future and what i wanna do with my life, and i think i really want to go to an art college.  so im trying to work on things other than ponies and pokemon

recently saw one of modmad’s(one of my inspirations actually) creations, and its such an interesting, unique character i figured id practice by doing some fanart of it.  its not my best work but i still like it, and i hope mod does too.  ;v;

Lessons Learned trailer (2014)

A new short film by Toby Froud: goblin kidnapping victim, puppet maker, and son of Brian and Wendy Froud.

I grew up on The Dark Crystal. I have owned that movie on VHS, on DVD, and as a comic book. I have two versions of the soundtrack. A collaboration between the next generation of Froud and Henson is incredibly exciting to me. I hope there’s a lot more to come.

Well I for one am extremely excited and am going to now have to find a way down from the ceiling

DIRECTOR NO

PLEASE DON’T CHANGE A SCENE WHEN I’M 60% DONE WITH BOARDING IT

SHIT YOU MADE IT BETTER DIDN’T YOU

WELL THAT’S JUST great actually good job with that

sorry I’m still completely beat from the loooong weekend (of super fun times) so I don’t have the energy to scan and upload doodles I did then, but since I finished this very short story ages ago and I’ll be able to put it up on the website once it’s done I suppose I can give you the first two pages of Fox Song, which is a thing I did last year? wow it sure was last year huh

it’s not brilliant but it is a finished thing and all finished things deserve to be treated kindly so I’ll do my best not to be mean to it and hide away it in a box where nobody can see it

Anonymous asked: This may be a weird question but, how do you do your hair? Like, do you just brush it? It's really pretty and I was thinking about cutting my hair similarly but my mom says short hair is a lot of work. Anyway, I hope this question isn't too weird...

actually I don’t brush it at all! I just wash it and let it dry however it wants to these days- I used to straighten it into a Beatle-type arrangement but it’s so unruly and prone to frizzing in the rain I just gave up, we’ve sort of come to an agreement that I leave it alone and it does something slightly different every time to keep me amused
