So the amazingly skilled modmad gave me permission to model and animate her design, and I immediately leaped for it because christ guys look how cool this thing is and don’t even get me started on movement because I’m just hoping in my animation I can make it look half as lively and exciting as her art. D:
This is just the base mesh. I’m unwrapping it right now for texture work, then comes the fun part of rigging it and making it move. :D I’m trying to get better about showing work in progress stuff because dang art that I can show is scarce.

After seeing chromat’s picture of his family as object heads, I wanted to join in on the party! My mom is a novelist and has been one a /very/ long time and I’ve always known her to be always at the extremes of incredibly fashionable or very sloppy. Most of the time, she’s very friendly, accommodating, and even childish. (Her head is my rendition of one of her book covers since they all follow the same theme.) My dad is a retired architect who seems to wear the same things everyday. He’s kinda similar to my mom in that he’s very child-like too but probably to a more embarrassing degree. And then there’s me who thinks wearing leather jackets in hot weather is ok to do. You guys know what I’m like.

Haha sure thing Fear! ;D I just finished doing something big so I doodled this up:
I guess since you asked for a drawing of me and the family, I can say a few things about them.
My mom and dad are very stereotypically feminine and masculine (in that order), and are polar opposites in personality. They both have short fuses. Dad is a venture capitalist and is often away from home, gone overseas for several months at a time, and mom is a school teacher.
My (younger) brother is talkative and is socially faster than I am, and loves watching anime. I think he likes cute little girls or something. He’s in college studying Interactive Media.
Then there’s me. [squart noises]
