(I didn’t have my computer for a while so I’ve been playing layton a whole lot then I see that you’re posting layton things? thanks for being an enabler)
Mod is always seen with a cup of tea, no matter how odd the circumstances, and each time Layton and Luke come across them they’re wearing something different too. Refusing to give a name beyond “Mod”, once their first puzzle is completed they give out the comic minigame. The minigame consists of finding the hidden meanings in each newly updated page. The dapper gentleman and his child companion that star in the comic seem somewhat familiar to Luke, but he’s not sure why.

I got bored so New Society6 Prints! We’re slowly getting closer to having this website done and the first few pages of The Princess and the Jester up with it, but if you can’t wait until then why not be the ultimate hipster and get some stuff for a thing that isn’t even a thing yet.
Anonymous asked: do Arthur and Mesi have surnames?
Do you know I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned them before now, which is a bit surprising, but yes! Arthur’s full name is Arthur Eric Steed, whereas Mesi’s full name is Mesi Jalloh.
Arthur has always found his name very pretentious, which is why the name he became known by was simply his first; he almost never had the surname put on the credits of his films, which was eccentric enough to draw attention and publicize the idea. ‘Ms Mesi Jalloh’ is how Mesi preferred to be titled in reviews/public addressal (and it’s pretty catchy so the press liked it too), which earned her the nickname ‘Ms Mesi’.
I drew Arthur and Mesi as ponies- the only way i know how XD i know the photo’s blurry, but i love SKIP and ily so i hope you like it!

SKIP PONIES and aaaa yes Arthur would be the most magical of unicorns yes excellent
morning warm up doodles in which one unbearably polite Englishman meets another (who is quite blatantly a fan)
Anonymous asked: do you own a top hat? at any rate I really think you should :|b
alas I do not but it is one of my life long ambitions to own one
Anonymous asked: what A levels did you take? :D
Art and Design, English Language, and Biology! We also had to do General Studies (a big random smush of language, RS, history and economics which I never completely understood the point of because it was so all over the place but oh well) and Critical Thinking (which, due to the colossal amount of bullshit that it was, became widely referred to as Critical Stinking). I also took Chemistry for AS but dropped it like a rock after the first year.
the funny thing is I was completely undecided about whether to pursue art or science and was 50/50 as to whether I was going to do zoology or animation right up until Chemistry became the worst class for me, and frankly I’m incredibly grateful that it did because I’m so happy where I’ve ended up :’D
Anonymous asked: you've fallen asleep at your desk?! that's so cute!
not from my perspective I probably looked like a complete doofus tbh, and I only did it the once it was when I was revising for my A levels
all the reward I ended up with was terrible back/neckache for a day afterwards and the task of having to wash the reversed print from the biology book I fell asleep on off my forehead 8|
so in summary falling asleep at desk in fiction = cute, irl = terrible idea
I tried to draw evil Layton but all I got was regular Professor Layton trying to pretend to be evil and failing because he’s too goddamn nice
also bonus getting Don Paolo to help doodle (and sleeping-at-desk doodle because I’ve been there myself Professor)
Anonymous asked: okay but what if you drew evil Prof Layton

you know I usually don’t do random anon suggestions/requests
but I am sorely tempted
