oh gosh I nearly missed this; I’m meeting up with a friend inside the Bonlieu at 4:30pm on Thursday. We’re just going to have a quick chat and a drink so we don’t miss our evening screening (and tbh I get a bit exhausted by lots of people!), so it won’t be for long but if you have ten minutes to spare you’re welcome to come and find me- I’ll probably be near the comic book shop inside the building, just look for the blue hair.

Okay so I was going through the pages of chapter 4 of tpoh for Dial references when I noticed his gloves…or glove.
Up until page 63, we can only see Dial’s right hand clearly, which has a red, fingerless glove.
But in the third panel of this page, we catch a glimpse of Dial’s left hand, which has NO glove.
So I figured, ‘Okay he just has a glove on his right hand, alright,” and everything is cool, right?
However, I turn the next page to see THIS;
Dial is waving with his left hand. With a glove.
Oh and did I mention the left glove disappears again on page 140?
My conclusion; I AM VERY CONFUSED. WHAT COULD THIS MEAN.
After a tiny bit of research I found out the word “left” and left handed people are often connected to “evil”. Does this mean Dial’s left glove signifies evil? Is it magical? As in dark magic and turns invisible at certain times for reasons?
It was a mistake. Dial’s glove should only be on his right hand. I only learned this recently while looking for references whoops.
I FUCKED UP I ALWAYS WILL REGRET HOW I FUCKED UP actually this is one of the things I have been meaning to go back and fix FOREVER but just to confirm yes his glove is meant to be on his right hand HIS RIGHT HAND although I am kind of impressed about how this mistake caused a theory about evil but MOD YOU ARE THE AUTHOR HOW DID YOU MANAGE TO FUCK UP THIS BADLY
