hahah a big same uh bUT HOPEFULLY even if they *do* accidentally delete me there must be a way to like, redact it? I think I’ve seen posts saying that if you contact tumblr saying you’re a real damned human bean they can put that thing back where it came from or so help me, but yeah there was this twitter post explaining how to back up your tumblr posts- mine is still processing and I’m not sure how you’d get the data back up even if you have it but heyyyy that’s… something?! and huh well that sounds dinky, small ain’t a problem we all start small. I might well spend part of this week exploring and making a pillowfort account!

2018: staff ignored the spambot problem for like years at this point and the app was removed from the app store as a result of the site being absolutely fucking laden with spambots, which finally motivated them to do something about it, resulting in a hastily made protocol to detect bots utterly failing and deleting half of the sites userbase
I do have a deviantart account I haven’t used it for like 1000 years and going back there really would be a last resort! likewise I sort of might maybe make an instagram but I don’t know what the rules are there about ownership of the work you post so im like, hesitating on that.
I like to imagine that she was this calm, kind, outgoing and joyful person but was also rather dreamy and disorganised- like a cross between Luna Lovegood and Phoebe from F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

YES I DO and sometimes it takes a day off- take some time to do something totally different to reset your brain, read some books, watch some movies, play some games- but sometimes the best solution is simply to work through it; pick up a pencil, and draw. it doesn’t matter what! it can be studies of things that you feel you’re weak at drawing, it can be simple geometric shapes, but just DO some drawings and then half the fight is over. Starting your work process is actually the hardest part, once you’ve climbed over that wall you can start boxing yourself into doing more and more ‘constructive’ work. Motivation is fickle, too, you can’t just sit around and wait for inspiration or expect it be there continuously- some days it pounces on you at 3am and won’t let go, but some days you have to hunt it down and beat it over the head with a stick before it’ll have anything to do with you! just keep your chin up, ask for help and support when you feel you need it, and goddamn remember to drink that tea before it goes cold.

this one here! it’s a short silly one (that doesn’t quite fit with the Distelfink canon or my idea of Gladstone’s understanding of his luck) but I have a soft spot for it. in fact, I drop the painting that Gladstone wanted to get hold of in a couple of the doodle comics backgrounds :D

sorry it’s not very clearly done is it- the bright stripe is the light beam coming from the doorframe!
