One of the most charming parts about Twin Peaks is how everyone just… rolls with Coop’s unconventional methods. He’s not like Mulder - no one challenges or shuns him for his weird ideas. They raise their eyebrows and exchange a few glances, but ultimately they’re just like “Huh. Coop, you’re a very eccentric man… but we love you, and would follow you into Hell, if that’s where this meandering plot takes us.”

you don’t have to strictly speaking- I basically designed it so you could ignore or vaguely guess what he might be saying without it affecting the understanding of the comic, but people have been translating what he says in the comments on smackjeeves (which is super cool and very kind) so if you check there you can usually find what it is he is saying! I’m going to make an extra page for the vol 2 print with a morse code guide written out on it for those who do want to have a crack at it (also yes I am… working on that the publisher guys haven’t got back to me yet :/ will send them another email)
