Sometimes writing is like having an enormous lake in your head, and you want to get it out of your head and into a proper place for a lake so other people can come and go swimming and ride jet skis and stuff, except all you have to move the lake is a teaspoon. So you’re just sitting there frantically flinging water out of the lake with your teaspoon and telling people, “Guys, this lake is going to be so cool when it’s done,” but it will never be done. There is so much lake.
I didn’t really expect this to be relatable, but if you wanna reblog, go wild.

super duper okay with that as my public image
very very rushed like did-this-in-two-days-what doodle comic because uh I like doing them? Also Fethry. I love Fethry.
Anonymous asked: Okay so I finished reading the Life and Times of SMcD and I gotta say I never expected to cry over this money-diving duck
Oh boy well lemme tell you anon, if you’re all caught up on that I have to recommend you also read one of my absolute favourites of all Scrooge comics- which is entirely based around the Life and Times; it’s called The Dream of a Lifetime (D 2002-033), again is by Don Rosa, is brutal on the emotions as well as being hilarious, and has some of the best uses of comic format I’ve seen.
Anonymous asked: Hi Mod! Just wanted to let you know: I absolutely love how you depict sword fighting in TPatJ. I've been doing HEMA for several years now and in my opinion you have captured the movements and the dynamic of it very well. Great work!
!!! that is extremely gratifying, I did a lot of watching videos of cool people swinging swords around so that was fun research at least but shucks :’D
Anonymous asked: :D I'm so glad you're liking the Scrooge album! What's your favorite song? Mine's a toss up between track 2 (no lyrics), The Last Sled, or A Lifetime Of Adventure. My Mum's favorite is Go Slowly Now, Sands Of Time. :V
I love all of them! But I think my favourite is track three; Duel and Cloud Spaces
also for those wondering this is the album and hot dang it’s some good listening whether you’ve read the comic or not (although that’s certainly recommended)
