Anonymous asked: HOW do you keep your inspiration from flying out the widow to continue TPoH?? or do you have to force out a new page every week? AND do you have plans for the story or do you come up with things as you go?

Actually, it’s one of the reasons I do all this fanart and have TpatJ on the go as well- which might seem crazy, but it’s true! I find having more than one project avoids having any one of them become a ‘chore’. If I don’t feel like I’m ‘in the zone’ for one story, I can work on another, and allowing myself to venture into doodling stuff that I like just for the hell of it doesn’t just let me learn new stuff, it keeps my love of drawing alive! I guess the danger I’ve seen a lot of people I worked with fall into is that drawing became just work; the only reason they drew was for work. Having weak hands I can understand this all too easily, as by the time you’ve finished what you have to draw you’re too mentally and physically fatigued to draw what you would like to draw. I’m in a bizarre, very lucky position where I can just about structure my time to accommodate both, and I find that it’s important to make time for the ‘like’ part for the very reason you’re describing. If I only drew TPoH, I would start to find it frustrating, draw much slower, love it less, and it would gradually pollute the story. I wouldn’t make it faster, I would make it worse. As for the story, gosh yes it is planned! But as with many things, only in parts- the joining up sometimes happens as it goes, but the majority of it and biggest scenes have been set since day one.

The Scrooge Mystery - a feature duckumentary - A documentary for the 70th anniversary of comic-book character Uncle Scrooge McDuck and its impact on the creative world. - http://kck.st/2qjdBo0

For any of you who’ve read the Life and Times, love Don Rosa or are just Donaldist nutters in general- this is a great project, and they’re currently above the 15,000 mark but I figure that money bin could do with a little more filling! Please consider looking into it and helping them out! :D

I want Terry Crews and Vin Diesel to do a buddy cop movie where they are both secret nerds but they don’t want the other to know. Like Vin Diesel plays D & D on weekends and Terry likes to create epic crossover fan art. Somehow they have to work undercover at Comic Con and for what ever reason I need Daniel Radcliffe to be the villain.

I’d like to add: not a character played by Dan Radcliffe. Dan Radcliffe, appearing as himself.

no, no wait… I want Elijah Wood to play Daniel Radcliffe.

Elijah Wood plays Daniel Radcliffe and his evil sidekick is Elijah Wood played by Daniel Radcliffe

Anonymous asked: I feel like one of the reasons you've won me over on Gladstone is you haven't for one second denied that he can be mean, can be sneaky, can be arrogant and self centred- you just, embrace it all? like you understand characters so intimately and instinctively, and helped me understand them too? like your comics feels so canon it's uncanny but like, the way you go in accepting and appreciating things makes me want to apply that way of thought to my actual life, it's amazing

I maybe teared up a bit reading this gosh

tricornking asked: How did Fethry convince Magica to stand for a portrait? And how did he avoid getting a spell put on him afterwards?

idk but with his track record I’m pretty sure Fethry is the one person on the planet who could manage it somehow

comic duck portraits! I wanted to have another crack at digital painting and tried to find styles that match their personalities. I actually kind of imagined Fethry being the one painting these- what with being an artistic chappy and all
