Anonymous asked: no hurry or need to or anything but, out of curiosity (and adoration) are you planning on doing any more duck doodle comics? they are so cute *v*
maybe! I certainly have more ideas (too many tbh), but I don’t have a great surplus of time at the moment- I really have to be on time for TPoH, and I really gotta get to finishing TpatJ so it might take a long time to get around to it, but thank you! I am glad people seem to be enjoying them :’D
Unmute this and turn up the volume

Anonymous asked: Have you seen the Phantom Tollbooth movie directed by Chuck Jones? It's from the late 60s. It's pretty good!
I have and I loved it! :D but then I’m a sucker for Chuck Jones in most any form, so
shadythesheep asked: I've been wondering for a long time... how often do you see The Property of Hate compared to The Phantom Tollbooth? Did you actually draw any inspiration from the book, or is the similar motif of abstract concepts given physical form just pure coincidence?
I see it a fair bit, which is amazing and such a compliment, but the honest truth is I’d never heard of the book before I started TPoH, and then someone compared it- and then I read it and felt very silly that I hadn’t read it before, because it’s wonderful! I love it so much and it’s very touching that people find my comic reminds them of it.
