Anonymous asked: Hi Mod! Sorry if you've already gotten this question a lot, but do you plan on printing a second TPOH book? If so, do you have some idea about when it might happen?
well friend I can’t give any specifics (outside of hhhmmayybbethisyear) but Plans are Happening
upperstories asked: A silly concept inspired from lack of sleep and muppets on the brain: Your Rubberhose Henry and Squiggly's Toon Henry as Statler and Waldorf, heckling the hell outta Bendy.
holy smokes, it took a bit of digging to find them but you’re completely right! it basically outright says that the helmet turns folk nasty in The Golden Helmet (W OS 408-02), and even if Gladstone’s a bit of a pill in the Lost Charts of Columbus (D 94144) you couldn’t say that his behaviour is out of his usual character- and he clearly doesn’t care about owning everybody or making them do what he wants like the others. Maybe he does have an immunity to curses!
In which case, kind of makes me think my answer to this question-
might be that it’s a good thing that Scrooge has got a relative like Gladstone knocking about, just in case… ( though I think he’s been hoarding things like that for a looong time in the comics, so)
Anonymous asked: I would just like to say your love of Gladstone is really infectious I didn't even know he existed like a week ago and now he's one of my favourite Disney characters
gonna save this goose-duck from being outright hated if it kills me tell u whut
anon asking about how I start drawing doodle comics/what I count as a doodle comic- basically they’re comics which I try not to ‘go over’, so most of the drawings are a one shot and are almost never clean. First thing after roughly sketching the whole caboodle and typing in the dialogue is drawing the incidental characters and establishing shots; places and people that show up in the background a few times to keep the story grounded. I can largely do these left handed too, so it means I save my right (more dominant) hand for the main cast. I also always try to keep in mind that my last drawings will be better than my first, so as dire as the temptation to start with them is I try to leave the ‘best’ character drawings until last.
I also cheat like the devil to avoid doing any massive time-taking proper perspective because I’m awful.
