Hey everyone! I’m Steel (or SteelEmissary / 0chromat), a concept artist and animator.
My talented friend and collaborator Vulkain launched the Kickstarter for his 1st Original Music Album. The album features a mysterious thief in a noir detective setting and will feature songs influenced by jazz, rock, pop genre styles with vocals.
I helped him animate and edit the promotional trailer for this - if the kickstarter hits its main goal, I will be able to animate a TV size music video for his signature album song. If it hits stretch goals, I can animate the video for the full song.
if you dig the idea, we would really appreciate your monetary support, or if you cannot, please help spread the word and signal boost, I’d love for my friend to get the support he needs to produce his music album, and I’d love to help his project come to life with a cool animation.
Hey guys! We reached 50% of our core funding goal already on Kickstarter just after 2 days of launching, which is really incredible! We still need help to make it to the finish line, please continue to spread the word or support us!
Anonymous asked: I'm playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (Sky ver.) and I recently recruited a Girarafig and named them ModMad and I s2g they keep curb stomping most Pokemon I face up against with their Agility plus Psybeam spam combo good job Mod
ur welcome buddy! reminds me of the time I had a Noctowl which I called Neil after Neil Richards, the original Mad Mod from Teen Titans, and I stg his hypnosis never missed and always lasted the max number of turns it was uncanny
Anonymous asked: re-read that "sorcereress's apprentice" and have a few questions! first- is that bit with Scrooge talking about scaling stormy mountains and making wonderful mistakes in the beginning foreshadowing? and second- that list of things that Gladstone says he's summoned, I recognise the tidal wave and the tornado, but did he really summon a meteor in the comics?
hehe! thanks for noticing that foreshadowing, it was definitely on purpose, and yes! he actually causes a meteor to fall in more than one story (there’s one where he’s conned by Donald into buying land that has no gemstones, and a meteor made of diamonds falls right onto his patch), and there’s this Carl Barks classic where he’s got to boil a pint of water in as short a time as possible;
there’s a couple of stories featuring him and shooting stars/meteors, which I guess figures, what with the whole wishing thing
gwinverarrouz asked: I know it's not possible due to all sorts of practical/legal/monetary reasons but I would LOVE to buy an issue gathering your duck doodle comics. Having them all in a duck magazine like the ones I used to read as a child would make me SO HAPPY (and your illustrations are so gosh darn beautiful <333) Also you've drawn something like 70 pages of them already?? that's so impressive?! I feel like us fans must have caught a bit of Gladstone's luck, for we sure are lucky to have you <3
aw shucks :’D but yeah man no dice I ain’t going to be printing anything Disney related ever (or anything I’ve made that’s fanart tbh), but I don’t think I can get in trouble for producing obnoxious numbers of clearly non-official fanart so, uh, that’s happening… 70 pages???? jfc really
2devils asked: I seem to have become spoiled by your beautiful Gladstone comics and art. I enjoyed how you draw his hair in those i'm almost sad the Ducktales reboot doesn't have it like that haha.
I’ll take that as a compliment, but don’t be sad! Different is just, different! The reboot Gladstone is a separate character from the canon comics version and a fresh interpretation, just as ‘my’ Gladstone is a hybrid of my style and my interpretation of this insufferable nuisance.
