Anonymous asked: loved the doodle comic! and the scene on the boat was adorable, but even if his jacket is green wouldn't the doctors have been able to see Gladstone?
ah yeah sorry that’s hard to interpret with it being in black and white- it would have been murder to colour the whole thing for that one gag though so I just tried to show it by shading in Magica’s hair and dress but I guess laziness doesn’t always pay :’D anyway it would have looked more like this;
so hopefully you can see how they’d get away with that, also fun fact in my original pass it was a flower barge! but I figured vegetables were funnier :P
I had a dream last night where Dyson saved our planet’s butt by inventing these cute little clear-plastic sky robots that filtered the air through the same black magic that they’ve clearly mastered to make those uber cool fans of theirs (how DO those work) and now I want it to happen because I’m terrified for this world’s future and also they had really adorable projected LED eye displays
in contrast the launching mechanism was super simple it was hilarious
thefloatingstone asked: Why would the money bin be the Tower??? You've got my interest there! D: (as if you didn't have it before)
mostly because it’s always being ‘struck by lightning’- literally sometimes, if Magica is attacking it! just the existence of the Bin creates trials for Scrooge, but, as with the right-side-up reading of the card, he always comes through in the end and is usually wiser for it (if a bit tired)
Anonymous asked: Hi! I saw your comic and I'm wondering what its your tarot cards headcanon for the rest of the cast?
oh my that’s tough, I had a time deciding on them for that comic even! but off the top of my head (trying to stick to the Major Arcana)-
Donald = The Chariot, Scrooge = The Emperor, Gyro = The Hermit, Gladstone = The Wheel of Fortune, Magica = The High Priestess, Fethry = The Fool, Ludwig Von Drake = The Heirophant, Huey Dewey and Louie = The Star(s?!), Grandma = Strength or Temperance?, Daisy (and Donald) = The Lovers, Brigit = The Sun? Goldie = The Empress, Flintheart = The Devil
has to be said I could also easily see Scrooge as the Hanged Man what with The Life and Times, also the heckin Money Bin = The Tower and Old Number One = The Ace of Pentacles and I’m prolly missing a bunch of really obvious ones but I’m tired so that’ll hafta do
Making a new post as circumstances have changed a little bit. Commissions are opening back up to help me support myself and save up.
Currently I have a part time job paying minimum wage and my current housing situation is coming to a fairly abrupt end soon. I’m applying to full time positions nonstop but as things stand, I cannot afford housing on my own even working five days a week. I need help.
Something I might begin introducing as things go on is slots, so I don’t get overwhelmed. I’m working on my art blog, commissions, a part time job, full time job hunting, and apartment hunting. I’m sorry if I need to set a cut off.
Payment is made through PAYPAL INVOICES that I send, not donations or sent money. This keeps everything above board and makes certain Paypal gets their cut for services rendered.
If you want to ask about a commission, just email me at nmlovearts@gmail.com. Also if you want something that you don’t see quite in this outline (say traditional art or something else), email me and I can give you a quote!
