Because I made a Fethry and Gladstone post before and I wanted to make one for the pair of cousins who doesn´t seem to get along (but love eachohter on their strange, family way)

Yeah, I know Gladstone is often portrayed as Donald´s rival, but they still spend time together, they still love each other and look after one another. He is like Don´s “least favorite brother” but as someone I know once said “I don´t like my brother all the time but it doesn´t mean I don´t love him”.

if I reach the stretch goal ($35,000) yes! There will be a rerun of Volume 1, but since demand for Volume 2 is higher I figured I should make that the priority in this case :’D

I’ve never sold anything at a con before now, and with how quickly I get fatigued from EDS tbh I don’t know if I could, but I’m considering trying it for maybe like, a day at Manchester or Leeds? I might be okay with that but again, early days and we gotta see where the winds take this crazy kickstarter train

going to bed rn but just wanted to say thanks to you guys- I don’t know how this kickstarter is going to go, but whether or not I reach the target the fact that so many of you have asked for another book and are like, constantly wanting to support me and this crazy story that hijacked my brain five years ago is??? amazing? also I am so happy and lucky to live in a time and situation where I can make this stuff at all and get it to your eyeballs via the miracle of internet let alone a printed version so uh that’s… amazing as well. a lot of amazement here

yeah idk where I was going with this I’m tired as hell but thank you so much. I’m very grateful and now I’m going to sleep a lot and try not to freak out about it all

Everyone else learns to bail out and quit because you just can't win against Gladstone, but not Donald- he tries every damn time, and sometimes? He wins! Maybe not conventionally, but he gets the better of Gladstone, and for all he never says it? That rivalry makes Gladstone happier than anything, because this one unlucky duck goes against the grain and makes his life interesting.

I think that’s a great thought, and also consider: Gladstone sometimes takes interest in an activity and tries it out just to see what the hype is about, or because Donald is interested in that thing, like cooking or fishing. Which leads to a scene like this gem:
