in this story scrooge doesn’t want to spend christmas with his family so he tells them he’s going to his cabin in the mountains but actually hides out in his unheated house all by himself and then people assume he must be a burglar or homeless person seeking shelter there and he can’t tell them otherwise and anyway. relatable. and also blanket burritos.

haha I’m not sure I can remember exactly- I think someone just asked on tumblr if they could call me that? and I said yes obvs because it’s adorable (and tbh made me think of Uncle Donald/Uncle Scrooge) and it just caught on from there
