simple things! basic geometric shapes like squares and circles, draw two dots and try to draw a straight line between them, numbers and the upper case alphabet- anything you can think of that isn’t so complicated you get distract by the final concept; what you’re learning is motor control, not ‘how to draw’. You’re making new roadways in your brain, and that takes time! so just take it slow and steady- a little in the morning, a little in the evening, every day every day every day. I do things like that even now, with both hands! It makes for a good warm up.

aw anon! friend anon please I am never not gonna be happy to see Gladstone on my dash, and it’s not like he’s my character?! I’m drawing on all the sources when I doodle him in whatever way I do please don’t think that you’d upset me by having a similar take- if anything that’s a compliment!
