I’M DOIN M’DARNDEST but to be fair so is the rest of the Eternal Duck Fandom plus you got like, over 70 years worth of comics to tide you over so I recommend chomping down on that tasty bunch

The implication that Goofy is just a more advanced stage in canine evolution is oddly terrifying somehow
theres no such thing as ‘more advance’ in evolution. a dogman isnt more evolved than a dog, just as you are no more evolved than an seagull or coral, they are just fitted for different environments and have evolved as such
Goofy is not more evolved the Pluto, Goofy just fills a different ecological niche. While Pluto is just a scavenger and Goofy is an apex predator both play important roles in the ecosystem.

Basic plot is a waitress who loves baking pies is in an abusive marriage and finds out she's pregnant, then has an affair with her OBGYN (said Bad Idea). Based on an indie movie, very charming quirky characters, very uplifting message/story. The musical doesn't have much violence shown from the husband, but his scenes can be a little upsetting/triggery for abuse survivors. BUT v good music by Sarah Bareilles!
