farareusis asked: i just read through your duck stories and what the heck mod enough time to fall fricking slaughtered me ?????? how dare you. but i did notice that you didn't include any of the shadow magica comics? those are the only ones i ever caught on my dashboard at the time you actually posted them so they're the only ones i knew to look for ahaa;;;;
oops and yay glad you like! also yeah sorry I really don’t know what to do with those but I left them off just because I felt it would take too long to explain them?! so yeah at the moment it’s just the self standing comics- idk what I’ll do with those alt Ducktales ones maybe if I end up with enough I’ll put them all up in a clump but I kinda want anyone to be able to read the ones on the site without having to jump through ten hoops of prior knowledge about the show and my weird take on it :’D
Anonymous asked: I was trying to figure out what I love so much about how you write/draw this Magicstone relationship and I think it's partly because you totally respect them? like, you don't make Magica submissive or try to change either her or Gladstone to be 'nicer' but rather you celebrate them both and show how good they can be for each other as they are- there's no domination with either it's just this lovely funny dramatic balance and even if it's tragic and silly it feels healthy and Good and I love it
aw man I am glad to hear you feel that way! :’D I really try hard to listen to and respect the characters whatever I’m writing, also I was joking just yesterday with a friend about how I need to step up my game of giving Gladstone some scenes where he saves her because I always have Magica saving his ass, but he just makes such a good damsel in distress and she’s so cool djfsdnk
not to quote myself but, to quote myself,
thinking about how backwards it is to assume that donald would ever be okay with gladstone getting seriously hurt when the revelation that he only ever thought he wanted that and will in fact risk his life to prevent it is what i consider to be his defining character moment? he is all bark and at best a nibble? his frustrated revenge fantasies don’t translate to his actions? all good donalds are relentless caretakers and protectors at their core

Anonymous asked: do you like the duck comics that are set in Egypt? one of my favs is The Crocodile Collector by Don Rosa but considering you live there I wanted to know how you feel about them :'D
I love any Ancient Egypt-motif cover art. My favorite is one from my childhood - Donald, Daisy and the boys dressed in ancient clothes, sliding down the side of a pyramid on a sled thing.
I don’t remember that one by Don Rosa, but I know I’ve read something set in Egypt drawn by Vicar a long time ago. They’re fun, but I’d like to see them having an adventure in modern-day Cairo. That would be something, given how old and crazy this city is.
/drops down from the ceiling like a friendly spider with a link to the Don Rosa story for you
