That’s fog, love! Very common for this area of the west coast. It’s actually up quite high still! Last night we had a fog roll in, as well. Very thick and pretty hard to see any more than a 100 meters ahead.
You guys get fog in the middle of the air?!
Jeez, in the UK we get it in bucket loads, but it’s usually close to the ground or just sodding everywhere from the floor up, not hanging about in the ether like that. I actually remember playing hide and seek/marco polo in the fog when we went to London once as a kid. It was so thick you could just make our your fingers when your stretched your arm out.

It’s like a cloud just landed on all the buildings; it almost looks like smoke, but it’s too white. Does anyone have any idea what’s going on? It’s too sunny for it to be cloud, and I’ve never seen them sit this low if that’s what’s happening (I’m on the 17th floor taking these).
Half the stuff I can usually see has just plain disappeared. This is kind of awesome weird.
