I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned my love for Power Nap, but I like it a lot. The art is phenomenal and bursting with life and the story is just bizzare enough to be positively exceptional.

I love Madness and their videos- it’s just, brilliant music by a bunch of loony grown up men with the disposition of a herd of five year olds, having a great time being gloriously silly and not giving two hoots about what people think.
Also the ‘bless the bees and birds’ part in this always gets me.

Name (Arthur) occasionally in usage throughout 2011 to present day.
What started out as a joke about my place of origin turned into yet another namesake, mostly through the influence of the class above mine in VFS. I also had blonde hair for most of the year so I looked alarmingly like him at one point.
There were also a few people who simply referred to me as ‘England’, but it had nothing to do with the character; my class was so international that we could pretty much yell a country of origin across the room and the right person would answer!

I got an ask about Mod getting frozen along with the Brotherhood of Evil, so I went ahead and checked the episode to see what legit happens, and lo and behold he does;

Also just, damn, I love this artist.
The red-legged scissorman from “Struwwelpeter”, a famous german children’s book that is, while of undisputed literary value, just completely fucking terrifying. I think it was my granny who read it to me when I was like five years old, and earlier today the memory crept back… so, a drawing happened.

I don’t have the book anymore, which is a shame : ( I assume my parents hid it in the darkest corner of the basement or gave it away ages ago, along with “Max und Moritz” and “Allerhand Kurzweil” and the original “Grimm’s Märchen” and all the other cute books for kids.
Oh my gosh I remember reading this when I was small. It was in a big book of compiled nursery rhymes and poems, my parents were just like ‘yeah sure have at it.’
European kids get the best stories.
