Follow me down the rabbit hole for a second:
I’ve long wondered if this - that women don’t recognize the symptoms of a heart attack in themselves, and consequently don’t get the fast care that is vital for heart attack survival - is the reason heart disease is the #1 killer in women. Women statistically take better care of themselves health-wise, than men do. Women see doctors more frequently and are more likely to follow those doctors’ recommendations closely. Why would both men and women have the same most common cause of death?
Heart attack symptoms in men are well known. We all know what it means when a guy on TV clutches his chest or left arm and falls over. This scene is often followed by a rush to the emergency room in an ambulance, and a shirtless guy being shocked back to sinus rhythm with the electric paddles. “CLEAR!” Right? Everyone knows that’s what a heart attack looks like. Because of TV.
Except you can’t show a topless woman on TV - and you can’t defibrillate a woman in a bra. So victims of heart attacks on TV are *always* male. Did you know that a woman having a heart attack is more likely to have back or jaw pain than chest or left arm pain? I didn’t - because I’ve never seen a woman having a heart attack. I’ve been trained in CPR and Advanced First Aid by the Red Cross over 15 times in my life, the videos and booklets always have a guy and say the same thing about clutching his chest and/or bicep.
And people laugh when I tell them women are still invisible in this world.
Things I did not know, but should.
“The study found that 42% of women who have heart attacks never experience the “classic heart attack symptom” of tightness or pain in the chest. Instead, they may develop pain in the back or jaw, light-headedness, nausea, vomiting and shortness of breath.”
I remember reading about this earlier, this is important to know.

ALL THE FEELS. He is adorable and creepy and stupidly intelligent but dumb as two rocks and I want to run a mile away while giving him a hug at the same time. It’s complicated.

I sort of ship a few with him but not very much, if that makes sense? Like I do ship Alice but in a rather tragic way- as in this will never ever work out well. I actually find the concept of him and Catwoman or even Ivy adorable because he just doesn’t understand women or sexuality at all but again this is head canon territory so hang me. Mostly I pair Jervis with crazy :I

Crane and Eddie are so brotp with Jervis it’s unreal. Also I love seeing Jervis and Harley as having a sort of brother/sister relationship, and I picture him and Penguin as having this two-person-gentlemen’s-club which is really just them being BFF’s but never admitting it.

- One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.
Another episode or two would have been nice, and a redemption attempt story would have given a lot of explanation as to what his state of mind and heart really is, but again ambiguity is the friend of imagination so THEORIES ALL ROUND.

Dude he started out as the embodiment of my worst qualities and turned into one of my best characters within the span of about a week, I have no idea how I feel about this guy.

Madras. I can’t help it just look at her holy crap I can’t handle that sort of cute and odd-couple-ness aaaa. Also probably the first character to genuinely make me like the colour pink.

Oops, confession time- I haven’t seen the movie *GASP* but I’ll answer in terms of TAS.

Look up the definition of BAMF in the dictionary and there’s a picture of Poison Ivy that comes to life and punches you in the face. She doesn’t rely on anyone, but she has emotions, moral standards, is smart as hell and more ass-whoop than you can fit into any number of cans. Also damn is she ever foxy.
- All the people I ship romantically with this character
Harley, Two-Face (in a sort of “hahaha the poor sod hasn’t got a hope of surviving” fashion), aaaand that’s about it.
- My non-romantic OTP for this character
If not otp then Harley and Ivy are brotp to the end of time. Again, the bitter-sweet rivalry with Batman is nice, but I never really shipped them so I’m more meh about that one. Also her forever-hate with Joker is vastly entertaining.

Looks sexier in a lab-coat than a skimpy leotard \(._.)/ shoot me.

Hm, dunno, really. I think she got decent screen time and character development, so again; I’m happy with what there is and isn’t.
- How I feel about this character
Hoo boy, what do I think about him? He’s utterly embarrassing, cruel, anarchic, a troll to the bitter end, and I adore him. I love how he’s always grinning and just revels in chaos and messing with people, but at the same time genuinely presents a significant threat. Anyone who can effectively break reality but chooses to do it with a sense of humour has my eternal respect (although I do die a little inside at the patriotism).

No-one. Ever. I just can’t.
- My non-romantic OTP for this character
BFF with Mumbo, totally. Also I must confess I do like the troll-uncle relationship he has with Robin and the Titans; like he has this educational vendetta against them but it’s all for their own good in his mind. Personally I think he’s trying to get them to have more fun and break the rules- nothing like a good dose of anarchic British Comedy to shake things up a bit. Of course, he might just be trying to rule the world, but that’s hardly worth bringing up.

Oh hell, probably all of my head canon would make die-hard fans erupt into flames of ire but do you really think I care.

Also a team-up with the Amazing Mumbo would have been glorious.
