God damn though, the Tin Woodman and the Scarecrow are so badass. I mean, not only do they never sleep and hold a constant vigil when Dorothy, Toto and the Lion are getting their half-starved, weary-footed, well-earned shut eye; but they each slaughter a freaking army of murderous wolves and crows by decapitation and neck-twisting respectively, not to mention the freaking bees. I mean just check this shit out:
He seized his axe, which was made very sharp, and as the leader of the wolves came on the Tin Woodman swung his arm and chopped the wolf’s head from its body, so that it immediately died. As soon as he could raise his axe another wolf came up, and he also fell under the sharp edge of the Tin Woodman’s weapon. There were forty wolves, and forty times a wolf was killed, so that at last they all lay dead in a heap before the Woodman.

Combined effort of my right and left hands. I’ve been coming up with this idea for a short animation over the past few days about an animator and his character. I still can’t pin down what the guy looks like but this is more about the feel of it (plus I can’t freaking draw).

Woah, gosh, I don’t know where all these are coming from but I guess I just have to say thank you, thank you, thank you and it’s wonderful to know I’m contributing to people. In all honesty I’ve been feeling more like a leech than anything else lately- what with having blown this first job and ending up in limbo again it doesn’t much feel like I’m achieving my dreams, but I’m trying, and I’m going to keep trying, and that’s really all anyone can do. In fact, it’s actually you guys who are helping me to feel like I’m getting somewhere with chasing my mad ideas, by following me and commenting and asking me questions. If you weren’t out there giving me support, anonymously or not, I would have given up long ago.
So, yeah, thanks guys! It’s just amazing that you appreciate what I do :’D
